Last time, I posted about a little bundle of joy. Now I want to show you guys something totally on the opposite side of the spectrum: Newfoundlands. They are truly AMAZING dogs. These dogs are excellent swimmers and some are actually used to do water rescues. Although they have this incredible amount of strength, they are so gentle and great with children of all ages. So far, these dogs sound like the perfect dog. However, before you decide to adopt a newfie, you must consider two things. First of all, these dogs are massive. They are prone to put on weight and have joint problems later on. Secondly, they have thick double coats that need extensive and proper grooming. But overall, these guys are just fun loving and lovable giants!
